2. Hosting and server logs
This website is served by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, through its European data centres. When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested URL and time of access to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
3. Media delivery
Images, video and audio for the website and the app are stored in Cloudflare R2 and delivered through media.ventoux.pro. Access to private app media uses time-limited signed links. No user account data is stored in this system.
4. Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
The administrative login uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated requests. Turnstile evaluates technical signals from your browser and may set a cookie for that purpose. It is used only on the login page. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
4a. Waitlist
If you join the waitlist on ventoux.pro, we store your email address, the time of sign-up and the page you signed up from in our database hosted on Cloudflare D1. We use it solely to inform you about the availability of Ventoux. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us; we then delete your entry. We do not pass the address on to third parties and do not use it for other newsletters.
5. Cookies
The public website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The administrative area sets a strictly necessary session cookie after a successful login.
6. The Ventoux app
[Describe what data the app processes on the device, whether anything is transmitted to servers, and which third-party SDKs are included, e.g. crash reporting or app store payments.]
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact us at the address above.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when the website or the app changes. The current version is always available at ventoux.pro/privacy.
